Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
- 4 Tablespoons 100% Cocoa Powder (or Carob Powder)
- 1-2 Tablespoons Honey
- 3 Tablespoons Nut Butter (optional, but almond tastes the best!)
- 1/4 cup or more Shredded Coconut (optional)
- 1 teaspoon essence of choice (peppermint, vanilla and orange are our favourites)
Servings:
Instructions
- Put Coconut oil in first, then all remaining ingredients into a microwaveable pyrex dish.
- Microwave on high for 60 seconds, then remove and stir well.
- Microwave for another 30 seconds, remove and stir again.
- Pour into chocolate mould of your choice or ice cube tray and place in the freezer for approx 60 minutes to set.
- Eat!

Recipe Notes
These can also be made using a double boiler method if you don't have or like microwaves.
The carob powder is sweeter than the cocoa, so you may wish to use less honey when using carob.
